Suri~ 7923 blog postsFriends I have to Go from Odisha to Amritsar via Delhi as direct train is not present, neither there is any train from Kolkata to Punjab on that day (I have to reach Amritsar by 24th Feb 2016).
Planning is for in this train "Purushottam Exp" from BLS to NDLS (Date 23 Feb) and then from NDLS to ASR any other train.
But i am doubtful which train to book from NDLS to ASR as Purushottam's punctuality is not trustworthy. How much buffer should i keep and which train should i book ?...

23rd Boarding from BLS will land u in NDLS at 25th Feb. So take 22nd train. 22823 BBS Rajdhani on 23rd will take u to NDLS on 24th and then take any shatabdi to ASR
Hirakud would be very circular.
I have to start from Balasore [BLS]. So it would mean first going from BLS to BBS on 21 feb night itself.

Thats the biggest problem for me. Punjab Mail got cancelled on 22 feb.
And Durgiana will reach ASR on 24th feb night (considering 2-3 hrs late) whereas i have to attend a marriage ceremony on 24th feb only.

23rd feb means 12801 departs BLS at 02:00 am. (12801 departing BBS on 22nd feb night)
So on 24th Feb morning it will reach NDLS.

Can i be able to catch DLI-PTK Intercity express for ASR after alighting Purushottam at GZB/NDLS ?
