Observations at Pune on 05-Feb-2007 from 16:30 to 17:20 hrs!
1) 1030 KOP-CSTM Koyana Exp arrived behind KZJ WDM2B # 16704 loco. The train left for Mumbai behind KYN WCG2.
2) Nagercoil-Tirupati-Mumbai Exp arrived from South behind ED WDM2 # 16657 loco. The train left for Mumbai behind KYN WCG2 # 20116. ED ...

loco went towards pit line near PF6.
3) L22 PUNE-LNL EMU for Lonavala departed from Pune 10 min late. The local EMU train was delayed so as to allow the TPTY-CSTM Exp to go towards Mumbai. T5 TGN-PUNE EMU Local arrived from Talegaon on PF5 at Pune station.
4) 1031 PUNE-MUV GyanGanga Exp departed at 17:10 (almost 1 hr behind scheduled departure of 16:15 hrs) behind green PUNE WDM3A # 18757R from PF3. GyanGanga Exp now goes to Manduadih (MUV) which is terminus kind of station 3 kms from Varanasi. However, the train board / name plate still showed Pune-Varanasi Exp! The train was heavily packed.
5) CSTM-HYB Exp departed from Pune behind KZJ WDM2A # 17228 loco.
6) Orange PUNE WDG3A # 14817 Shakti Loco brought a dead brown colored PUNE WDM2 # 17739 loco from PUNE Diesel Loco Shed. Soon, WDM2 was attached to PUNE-STR Passenger and made live. Shakti was decoupled and moved towards electric trip shed side (from line of PF3.
7) Satara Passenger left behind this PUNE WDM2 # 17739 from PF6.
8) Pit line near PF6 had ED WDM2 # 16657 (which - as rightly indicated by Milind - will haul Pune-Solapur Hutatma Exp) and GTL
WDM3A # 18983R (which will haul 6011 CSTM-MAS Exp).
9) Soon, twin KYN WCG2 # 20156 + # 20126 (both live) hauled goods train from Daund side towards Mumbai side (from the through line between PF1 and PF2).
10) Pune-Nagpur superfast was ready to depart behind blue PUNE WDM3A # 18754R loco. On previous ocassions, I had seen NGP SF getting PUNE WDM2 loco.
11) Announcements were made that Goa Exp is late by 2 hrs or so. Hence empty PF1 was given to EMU train arrived from Lonavala. The same EMU will depart as PUNE-LNL EMU at 17:40 from PF1 (ahead of PUNE-CSTM InterCity Exp - on PF2).
12) Electric trip shed had 3 KYN WCG2 locos, 2 BL WCAM1 locos ( WCAM1 # 21829 + 1 more BL Loco) and 3 KYN WCAM3 Locos, viz., WCAM3 # 21938 # 21884 # 21889 locos!
