I gave the following suggestions in the suggestion portal of indian railways to increase revenue:-
Respected sir/mam to increase revenue following points must be considered:-
1)All the passenger trains (savari gadi)services should be withdrawn and intercity trains should be introduce in place of these and fare of intercity city type trains should be fixed by the concerned division/zone keeping the local bus fare in mind..The fare should be equivalent to the fare charged by the local bus/transport operators.

minimum fare of each class should be increased.
3)The ac-2 & ac 1 coaches should be removed from most of the train and the number of Ac-3 coaches should be increased.
4)All Kind of useless quotas in reservation process should be removed.
5)Number of coaches in a train should be increased to 30 to reduce cost of operation
6)The property of railways which isn't in use should be given on lease to willing person/company.
