Kerala Express has a reversal @ ERS & hence loco is changed to save turn arond time.
True that NDLS bound Kerala Express gets a fresh(POHed?) loco from ED, which takes it all the way to Delhi and brings it back to ERS(may be that same loco returns to ED with that day's TVC - NDLS Kerala Express).
