On feb 7th 2016, I suffered grave injustice in the hands of the railway department.
I had taken counter ticket and my uncle (family friend), who is working in railway for EQ, had made it confirmed for me. . I received a confirmation message after chart preparation (seat number,coach number) . Unfortunately, I forgot to take the counter ticket along with me. When the TTE came for checking, I showed him the confirmation message and my original license proof. But he said it was fake! a criminal. I dont understand how a railway employee in such a high position can behave so rudely to the public.
What is most riduculous is that he made me pay a penalty amount of Rs 790!!! When I checked in website about this issue (click here it says that for the loss of ticket TTE should claim a fine of Rs 50 . Then how could he fine me 790 rupees?
I have all the proof along with me, including the recorded conversation with TTE.
