Hi,
I wanted to know if someone can travel with RAC tickets in 2nd ac compartment. My parents are travelling from Mumbai to Thrissur in 16345 Netravathi express. They have 2 other passengers who have joined them who claim they have rac tickets. Which means there are a total of 6 people in place of 4 people. The ttr apparently says it is allowed.
If this is allowed, then it defeats the entire purpose of going for a 2nd ac

I ve seen a waiting list passenger travelling in 2ac after taking permission from the tte and paying a fine...
Oh okay. Would be really inconvenient for other passengers if they have to adjust after paying premium charges
