I am a senior citizen and generally get Lower Berth during my travel. But I do not get any Side Lower Berth even opting for the same. How can I get SLB according to my option when there is a plenty of seat available in the sleeper class. Please suggest.

Sir please go to prs ,they will give you slb ,because in irctc online booking there is no assurity that you will get lower or side lower berth.
It's because of PRS algorithm which allots LB_when available to SRCZ.
You may get SLB when:
All LB are filled
A SLB for CNF available.
Please remember that most of SLB comes under RAC quota.
