Please see SER map or Ranchi Div map in official website that it passes throgh Gautamdhara in Muri Ranchi direction but it passes through Jonha instead of Gautamdhara in opposite direction - it is hilly region and distance are different in UP and Down directions - there is a gap between two lines between Gangaghat and Kita and it is a hilly region. If you don't add gautamdhara (Pass) by default distance will be wrong.
Due to the hilly terrain, the up and down lines in the Kita - Tatisilwai section are far apart (upto a distance of 1.5 Kms). The up Line has Jonha Station and Down Line has Gautamdhara station.
