After reaching by DEMU train from Banihal, in the afternoon, with family, what are the options to reach the main city/ dalgate? I heard that, communication is poor.Any suggestion? Also, how is the bus frequency from Jammu to Banihal. My colleague with family wants to go to Srinagar from Jammu. Up to Banihal by bus, then by train.

By which train u r going ....... ????? if train goes upto udhampur then better u take upto there and the from there u ask people for local bus which tke u to bus stand where u find ample of buses .... it will take approx of 5-6 hours to reach banihal by bus
if u opt from Jammu then time travel is 10-12 hours and is also costly
fare from Udhampur railway station to Banihal is 3500 for cabs (7person max) and u have to reserve

frquency from Jammu and Udahmpur(bus stop) is continuous u can get in 5 mins
