it surely seems to be the fastest option now between bangalore and howrah. wish it was there when i was in bangalore. used to be a pain pre YPR-HWH express days.
But i find the timing of the train odd. It leaves at 11 am and reaches at 4 pm, in both directions. so effectively 2 days lost. However if you consider the YPR-HWH express, even though it takes more time, you effectively lose just one day, day 1 it leaves at night and day 3 it reaches early morning, for both directions.
