Please flag this futuristic International train between Tripura and New Delhi. While it is practically feasible for trains from other NE states going via the 'chicken's-corridor' (Purely IR route), Tripura lies just too south to be practically connected that way.
For Tripura at-least going via Bangladesh would be much practical and much less time-taking. If the logistical and practical difficulties are sorted out, this train would be a revolution.
And this train would also be a good option for the Bangladeshis too.

Man . At least your intent is futuristic . BR via route being in another country Bangladesh may pose lots of not easily addressable security hassles . Yet I really respect your long term positive thought process . Yet mind it dear international security concerns are much more complex & crucial than you seem to have envisaged so your very good initiative will in the first place not be allowed even if it means less travel time less fuel vis a vis 141 km lesser distance . The issues raised by other learned members are also justified to a reasonable extent . MY Dear Have Heart . Who knows one fine this may come true as a pleasant surprise who knows .
