Kamayani Express - Late आना है काम तुम्हारा लेकिन मैं फिर भी हूँ तुम्हारा दीवाना - Aman

I was due to travel from NDLS to TVC Feb 21st 2016 with some friends. We boarded train number 12626 at 11.30am from NDLS. When the train reached the Haryana border, it met with some Jaat protesters who detained the train, beat up the driver and forced the train to return to NDLS. We reached there around 6.30pm and waited until we saw our train was officially cancelled on the display board. On trying to get a refund from IRCTC, they claim that the train was not cancelled. Was anyone else on this train? Have you been able to get your fare refunded? Can anyone advise me what to do to get my money back?
