Railfan_SRDiv^~ 2432 blog postsTrain can start from palakkad junction ,,,i came to know some people r speaking about extending mas cbe shatabthi to palakkad junc,,,damn sure shatabthi wont have patronage if it gets extended,,,instead this 12680/12679 intercity can start from palakkad junc at 05:05 am to mas and can arrive pgt at 23:30 pm,,,i know cbe people will oppose it ,,but extension with same GNWL FOR CBE AND PGT gives good patro,,,

s nw i think maybe they can start a new train from madras to ernakulam as intercity superfast exp,,that departs ers morning and arrive mas at evening can operate as triweekly first,,

Agreed , it should depart CBE at 17:00 and reach Ernakulam by 21:30.Lots of ERS ppl in Coimbatore are struggling since there are no proper trains at that time
then it must depart madras at 09:30 a less congested time and arrive CBE AT 17:00 with stoppage at arakkonam , katpadi,salem,erode and tiruppur,cbe north,cbe,podanur,palakkad,thirussur,angamali,aluv a,ers atlast,,,katpadi at 11:20,salem at 13:50 and erode at 14:45,tiruppur at 15:40 and cbe north at 16:35 and cbe at 16:50,podanur at 17:05 and pgt at 17:55,tcr at 19:00,angamali at 19:50,aluva at 20:00 and ers at 20:40,,,,RETURN:ers at 06:15,aluva at 06:40 and angamali at 06:50 ,tcr at 07:50 and pgt at 09:10 and podanur at 09:55 and cbe at 10:15 and tiruppur at 10:50 and erode at 11:35 and salem at 12:35 and katpadi at 14:55 and arakkonam at 15:45 and chennai at 17:00pm,,,,
