I want to book 11 tickets on this train for 17th Feb 2010. But the tickets from Vizag is only 36 upto Howrah. But there is around 386 from Hyderabad to Howrah. So if I book the tickets from Hyderabad giving Rs.442/passenger and change the Boarding Point to Vizag will that be a prob?? I want the seats, money is not a problem! Pls Guys help me out...

The blogger want to book 11 seats and from boarding point only 9 are available, so if he books he will get 9 confirmed berths and other two wait listed (wait listed not RAC becuse this will be case of Remote Location and in remote location RAC is not given).

Hey Jitesh I want to ask one thing. Say if i book from SLO and do not change boarding at all then also i am allowed to board from vskp as its the next only stop?

I agree with you that VSKP is the next stop to SLO but just consider the distance factor, the distance between these two is 150 Km and this is night journey, there is lot of risk involved in it. Because 150 Km is a large distance and if the tte will not find the passenger on respected berths then he has the authority to allot the berth to other wait listed passenger.
So in this train I will say there is risk

I agree with Mr. Jitesh, as I have also have experienced it. The quota from the Boarding point only it alloted. Try through Quick Book, there a popup will say that quota from the boarding point only is allowed. Better book first and subsequently get the boarding point changed.
