Traveled by this train, MG route. the route is so beautiful. the sideways swaying of MG trains induces sleep. the train is always late due to unrealistic timetable. there are 2 rakes on this route. sometimes they become express (once a day) else they are sawari (passenger) trains.
Cleanliness is only so and so (theek). takes YDM-4 of ANDN. (I think that all trains on this route have the same kind of loco fron ANDN as GD/Gonda shed is for BG locos, someone may know better.) Moderately crowded, seating is available, locals warned me that it is not secure and your stuff has higher chance of being stolen.

new BG line is coming up on the route, bridges were almost complete, but tracks not yet laid. Some stations were getting new platforms too. The work was slow, i was told. Earlier this route had trains to gkp but since ANDN - GKP section was converted to BG, ANDN became the terminus for MG trains.
Also this is token territory, kapilvastu exp. has token exchange system.
