One of the reasons is technical works like rake reversal, loco change. Trains block platforms for 20-25 minutes for such works which is a massive duration considering the congestion in NCR.
Im asking why trains skipping this station..don't say congestion is the reason bro..less priority.

Trains skip ald because ..it has all what it wants ..like duronto, rajdhani, garib rath , sfs etc..connecting to every place ...so some trains are made to skip it ..as halting trains at ald ..will not create any benefit to ppl there as it's already having everything...
Atleast now dont rant about congestion. I know route is running on 140% capacity but there are routes which are similarly congested and with less platforms but u can also see After arrival of new DRM, punctuality of trains passing ALD has improved much. It shows last people were lazy and didnt do their work properly.
