If it is run at normal time, it can easily reach Allp by 6:30 pm itself. I thnk some changes can be expected in this final stretch when the new time table is published.
OMG.. Seen schedule of this train for first time... Seriously why such trains exists. :D
You would be surprised to know that it remains full for most part of the year at least up till Katpadi and during the Sabarimala season between November till Jan every year almost full till Ernakulam.

Credit goes to CMC Vellore(till Katpadi), coz 80-90% travelers are patients, who visit to CMC, people from eastern part have full faith on CMC vellore & infact it is result oriented & bit cheaper(CMC) also, by seeing its full pax IR shd introduce some more trains(fast also)
Once it came with ED WAG7 in pure blue coloured livery when I was in MAS (but as ALLP-DHN EXP) on 27-05-2016
