I'm planning for a 3-4 month trip across the length and breadth of India on a tiny shoestring budget. I have a lot of mental hangups - "I need to make a lot of money to gain other's respect. I need status symbols to prove my worth. I cannot REALLY enjoy myself. I can't have friends who love to hangout with me. I'm not a social animal. I like to be a private person - keeping my desires, fears, anxieties, feelings, etc to myself". I have many more. Which I'd like to crush by being face to face with loads and loads of human beings who simply yearn for that gentle human connection. Because I'm one among them, albeit with a closed fist now!
