There is nothing wrong if he doesn't know about RAC, the enthusiasm he has shown in knowing what it is is to be appreciated. Please be polite to others.
It is the matter of fact Rac passengers have to share the berth, once i had to literally fight with one "khadoos" uncle to just sit on the seat which i was sharing with him.
