departed right on time from SBC pf8, all pax were set.
As we crossed YNK fresh hot soup was served.
After SNSI dinner was given. Mine as usual Non-Veg (Chicken curry, 2 Rolls of Chapati, Dal, Rice, Sweet, Pickle).
Journey started well. Train was running majestically after having my dinner, i slept.
Morning starts with some good railfanning while train crossed from Hyderabad suburbs.
After a brief halt of 40 mins at SC the loco got changed from EMD to 3-phaser LGD (30261) WAP-7.
P-7 did the good job, got some good action as hoped
It was all going well but the speed was not that great for which the Rajdhani Express is accounted for.
Though enjoyed the breakfast and the meal which was served en route.
Train had many unscheduled halts till BPQ.
Then the 1st incident happened.
After crossing the SEGM train got halted at VADR for about 30 mins. Till NGP it was moving like the same halting at all small stations, reached NGP about 1 hr late.
Here train halted for 30 mins. Reason got to know that the loco got failed and fluid tank was burst due to such the officials declared loco unfit.
Then the off-link of TKD was given, an another 3-phaser of TKD (30377) WAP-7. Finally train departed.
Train was running swiftly, crossed the ghats majestically.
Then the 2 incident happened.
Train started halting on small stations and then finally it was made halted at MTY for about an hour.
Then i rushed to LP got the news that due to jat agitation all trains were halted and some were got cancelled in midway.
Controllers somehow managed to make this train reach AMLA. Then at AMLA, controllers refused to take train furhter.
At railway station the message was conveyed through announcement -
"Yatri kripya dhyan de Bangalore se chalkar Nizamuddin ko jane wali 22693 Rajdhani Express ko cancel kardiya gaya hai,
ye train ab aage nahi jayegi.
Yatrion se anurodh hai ki jinko Itarsi, Bhopal ki yatra karni hai ve kuch hi der mein aarahi 22696 Ahilyanagri Express se yatra kar sakte hai.
Apko hui asuvidha k liye hume khed hai."
People inside the train start panicking about what has happened, they rushed to SM's office.
SM said the controllers are not taking this train further, so we are sending this train back to NGP.
It is not known what will happen after NGP. So we are advising and allowing you all to travel in Ahilyanagri Exp.
You all can travel from it up to BPL atleast and after reaching BPL you will get the further information.
About 80% of the train passengers got down from the train.
As the 22696 arrived on pf3,we had no seats, no reservation. Whoever-wherever got the space, occupied.
I somehow managed and got some space near the door/vestibule of S-5.
Then the real Rajdhani Journey begun, no dinner-no comforts, all was left behind.
There I got 2 fellow passengers victim of same. So we had some good talks and several discussions & start counting the hours.
At BZU somewhere at 20:00 we met with Gondwana Exp which was looped since 16:00. Our train moved further and we purchased some fresh grapes which become our dinner for the night. Yet a healthy though.
Then from one of our fellow passenger we got to know the information from the passengers which were stayed back in the train, that the Rajdhani was released and it is is coming.
Then as we reached the ET pf1 suddenly about a bunch of people entered in the SM office and start making the chaos, saying why they made us to get off the train if the train was not cancel.
They said we will not make this train to move further untill or unless Rajdhani made to halt here. Meanwhile some guys rushed to the chain, to pull off if the train moves on.
They were demanding the Rajdhani to halt at Itarsi, so that we can get back in the train. As the train doesn't halt here.
This whole incident was keep on going and RPF did nothing as the people were making their genuine demands, and they were very angry.
Then some fellow passengers talked with them and said don't delay this train at least as it is going up to BPL. We can go from this train till BPL and after reaching there we will decide what to do next.
All were agreed and headed back, train departed from ET.
We reached on time at BPL around 00:10. My journey was till CNB as i had my reservation in 12594 Garibrath Exp which was already left.
Then we saw on board all trains were showing - cancelled.
Then i checked from enquiry 12542 Sant Kabir Dham was running on time and arriving shortly at BPL.
Me and one of my fellow mate (victim of same Raj) agreed to catch this train as it will take us to CNB.
12542 arrived and same situation was here, no seat.
Here also we somehow managed to enter in the Sleeper class, made some space near the door. Believe me it was pathetic inside.
Train condition was so poor which can't anybody can think off. Peole were sleeping on the floor, toilet shutter was broken and last but not least JERKS.
Which we were getting every time as whenever the train accelerates. Due to its CBC coupling.
What to do, but we have to as it was our only option.
We somehow managed till JHS. From JHS my fellow passenger had his seat in 3A - Ohh that was a big relief.
We suddenly rush to our coach B-1, grab our seat 31 (SLB). Me and my fellow mate relaxed and took the nap after the long & hefty travel.
Then i woke up at PHN, had a cup of tea saw the condition of the train and realised.
Its not the railway who make the trains dirty, its us who make the trains dirty.
Tea cups were fallen on the floor, newspaper, half eaten food all was left on the floor.
I really appreciate the OBHS service guys they were trying there hard to make the train clean. But its the passengers who were not.
I must say it is our resources and our responsibility to make or to keep them clean. Its our duty and we should all think in that way.
Then i reached my destination around an hour late. Leaving all the good and the bad memories behind.
Then me and my fellow mate had a good goodbye with a promise that we shall meet again in the future.
This journey was one of my best journey so far, as i had not a fair experience which i had thought but it was really good that i met with some such a good people.
For this i thanks to railway and lastly i say it the only railways who makes you to meet many good people.
