Continuously trolled in BPL NZM section for past few days almost always overtaken by TN. Really bad days have come back again for this train.

Yeah but there's one more train which is appealing me very much now. 18047/48 connects both my hometowns runs 2121 Kms from Howrah to Vasco is a M/E train but has a SF schedule for nearly 80% of journey that too without any scheduled overtakes by any train.
True it has not so clean rakes, no SF tag but still runs like a boss. Also occupies a place among the fastest SF trains between HWH BZA and vice versa inspite of not being a SF.

Amravati Exp do share slot with other SF just like Shalimar TVC which share slot with other SF but wasnt SF earlier!!
U gonna find immense exaple where SF & M/E share slot & that slot makes the train run with high AVG!!
15902 share Kaziranga SF slot in between HWH-YPR, 18637 with 12835 (Non SF faster thn SF), BGP-LTT & GHY-LTT, Saket & BSB-LTT SF (ET-LTT Stretch) & many more!!!

Yes but Amaravati express was made a SF when extended to HWH and Anga SF and other SFs in its slot were introduced later ie. originally the slot was given to Amaravati express and later other SFs were introduced in its vacant slot remaining 3 days. So it was originally meant to be a SF but sadly it wasn't able to maintain that SF schedule in SWR due to single track and low MPS sections so degraded to M/E. later but same SF schedule remained between GNT to HWH.
So Amaravati express does not have high Avg. because of slot sharing but because its a SF degraded to M/E. Anyways SWR is going on with track doubling works in the routes...

Even today overtaken before JHS. God knows what's wrong with 12779 only.
