can anyone give update on the status of chenab bridge on the newly constructing katra banihal route?? is the work going on or stopped?? what is the expected completion time??
AFCONS - /kONKAN rAILway - which are responsible for undertaking this project say that they are done with 55 % Work . They said that by 2019 - 2020 , the bridge would be operational .
Note - This is named as the Chenab Bridge which is situated in the Reasi District of J&K. I myself watched the video on Youtube. All peirs have been casted and installed. The making of the bridge platform is going on . Kr and Afcons engineers have overcome major hurdles and it is expected that the project which has already crossed many deadlines will get a push . :)
