at present HWH HLZ is 140 kms.
it can be reduced to 75 kms (SDAH-DH-DZK-HLZ) if this bridge is made,

how about bridge at Lakshikantapur - Kulpi extension ? technically possible ?
Same problem. Only option can be Raichak-Kukrahati where river flow is milder and width shorter. But dono whether it wd b possible or not.
IR showing significant negligence regarding this matter which is pathetic for both local pax & long distance pax.
The bridge is not possible till kolkata Port trust gives Green flag . they will never give green flag because Giving of green flag is same as suicide .
