Lots of modernization works like upgrading to concrete sleepers, MACLs installation etc. going on in the yard. Semaphore signalling system is still in vogue here. Goods locos from Katni and Patratu shed were in abundance here.

Some civil works going near Ticket Counter...n i think platform 2 & 3 r not still fit for Passenger services as both Shaktipunj (UP & Dn) in d morning arrived on platform No 1 only...however Howrah bound could have used platform No - 2 or 3 which was waiting a station b4 Singrauli for a while.
It really pains seeing such a pathetic controlling of trains at such an imp station....All trains get delayed while crossing Singrauli...Its almost daily in case of Shaktipunj Exp...both directions n unfortunately they generally meet here...
Agree , but NTES troll is daily phenomenon here . Actual 3 hr late ON NTES departed ONTIME . What was max speed after obra till singrauli also what is progress on electrification between chopan-singrauli
(60-70) kms per hour...electric poles have reached Chopan Jn's platform at Renukoot End...progress is visible at some stations b/w Magoardahra n Karaila Rd, wid a dig visible alongside tracks...but semaphore signalling still rules max part of d section...
