Ante, not exactly pre-independence for Circar, but Kakinada to Madras pre-independence trains undevi. For sometime it was slip coaches to Howrah mail, then it was slip coaches to Madras-Waltair passenger and probably one more direct train running via EE ( BVRT route was converted to BG in 1960's) Kakinada customs museum lo 1930-40 madhyalo teesina pics konni unnayi, with Cocanada town and some trains. I'll try to find out some info when I go to Kakinada next time. :)
