This is the best train if you want to travel economically in least budget to Digha also if your trip is suddenly planned and there is WL in other trains you can board this train at a mere cost of 35/- from Mecheda and 40/- from Santragachi.
This train says that its starts from Mecheda but it actually starts from Santragachi Jn at 6:10 AM and reach Mecheda at 7:15 AM.After a halt of 35 mins it starts from Mecheda.
General Express train takes 3.5 hrs to reach Digha whereas it takes 45...

If you board this train from before Mecheda seat is guaranteed.Also this train helps you for perfect rail fanning.
People going to Mandarmani can also get down at Ashapurna Devi P.H from which Mandarmani is only 18 km away.
