Seems like either IR deliberately does it or it is just God's doing that EVERY Thursday is a disaster day for the train. This is the third Thursday I see 12301 running delayed by over 1.5 hours and surprisingly, on none of the other days I saw it late atleast till CNB.
Last Thu some goods train had derailed near Gaya, the prev Thu some storm had damaged electric lines and so on. Aaj pata nahin kaun sa naya tragedy ho gaya near Asansol.
Surely something ominous about Thursday!

12313 has reached at 12.50 PM. It seems the cut off time is not 1:00 PM. As 12314 is rescheduled to depart at 17:50.
However, King would have departed as per normal schedule as 4 hrs bare minimum is needed for rake cleaning. Today it will run via PNBE. More delay will be added.
I think only the Bengal trains have this cut-off thing. Even Ranchi and Dibrugarh Rajdhani reached late and still departed from NDLS in time although they had even less time than 12306 and 12314.
Does anyone know the logic behind this kind of rescheduling of these two trains? If 12440 and 12424 can manage without rescheduling, then why not these two?

And worst thing is it has got further delayed till MGS by nearly 3.5 additional hours! God knows how King (and also Queen) got so delayed in the ndls-MGS route. Today is one the most unfortunate days for these two trains.
Today also, 12313 has reached very late (12:35 pm) but 12314 has not been delayed. I wonder why they delayed the train's departure yesterday then.
