I was travelling by 17222 on Thursday. WDM 3D of Kalyan DLS was hauling this train with superb powerful horn.
Train was on PF No.6 of Pune at 15:45. Train departwd at 15:55 sharp. Train got green signal at Daund. It was running at a speed of 105 Kmph, train crosses whole Daund Junction in just several seconds and suddenly train shouted Pow-Pow-Powwwww. It was chain pulling at Daund Junction and more than 20-30 passengers got down from whole train.
I have some questions in my mind. All railfans are requestwd to help

me out for solving this.
1. If train doent hault at certain station then why passengers board the train?
2. Dont you think chain system need to remove from train, alram button is usefull instead of it.
3. Why RPF and GRP not taking any action against this people?
4. Can our minds never change by mainting descipline and following all rules?
Our PM seeing dream of bullet train and our beloved passengers stopping trains at desrired location by pulling chain.

U mean the chain pullers were looking forward to go towards MMR?? @ this train schedule, other PUNE-DD option exist, everyday!!
BTW, hw many train shld stop @ DD?? All??

Yes...the vendor who put-in frm JBP, pull the chain if train skip Manikpur & guess board sme other train @ Manikpur back towards JBP..
Regular practice..these fellow can easily b nabbed, but still doesnt been cared by RPH..& i guess chain always get pulled after train cross Manikpur station!!

1. Passenger await sme train & find other train start earlier..thn its easy bet..if stop f9..else chain pull..
2. Alarm button will never hav the power in passenger hand to stop..Facility cnt b wiped in case of misuse cz its vital in circumstance of passenger safety & even one such case cnt b neglected just cz people misuse chain (IR rule)
3. The people quite quick & remain in crowd!! Recently, Gurumukhi was passing non-stop @ SLN (nwdays these non-stop train pass SLN slow in complete status of fear of chain pull) &

chain gt pulled & later one guy was caught by RPF..if it was crowd, none would get trapped!!
4. Well u cnt expect it to b maintained for IR whn the same situation exist for every department PAN India!!

Yeah.. daily up down travellers are in group.. one onboarding RPF can't do anything.. :(
Also they are pulling chain after crossing whole station so that they can escape easily without caught from station authorities..

If train cross any station in high speed, chain pull will not work (to overcome this, traveler break air pipe, which is quite risky for bth traveler & train--which may derail)..DD do hav PSR & chain pull works easily!!
IR Staff too ease chain pull..like there exist Salempur Jn where Godan/LTT-CPR Exp dnt stop!! Nw in every run, the starter read red & go green till train enter station premise..& the moment it starts chugging, chain get pulled!! If it would hav green, high speed pass-thru wouldnt hav let chain-pull work!!
