I have traveled in this route where both Bardhaman & DGR where crossed at a blasting speed. However, in ASN it slowed to such an extent that one could have actually deboarded.

That means Asansol Jn has a Permanent Speed Restriction for trains passing non - stop through it , due to criss -cross track changing interchange points . Hmmm !!!!
