the mayiladuthurai villupuram broad gauge is line ready for usage.but still the authorities have not come out with its officialopening.when is going to be done
presently this track is being experimented with goods train for track testing etc, load haulage. its not a joke that, once the track is finished, passenger trains are run on it. it takes lot of time to test and then commissioner for railway safety inspects the track and if passed by crs, its certified to run passenger trains. according to old reports, this should take place by end january or feb 1st week. then they will wait for some politician to give appointment for inauguration. now its a matter of time only.
