When is the electrification between Bangalore and Gooty expected to complete? Would northbound trains change to electric loco or still continue with WDPs? Also, any news on the proposed extension of Udyan to Mysore that was doing rounds last year?
Electrification completed YNK to GTL ... .. MAS SSPN and SBC HUP pass running with electric link... heard some goods are coming with electric link from GTL
Thanks for the reply. Is Guntakal - Wadi electrification complete? Then they could at least run this train on electric loco from Bangalore to Wadi. Save some time and some pollution maybe?
It's not yet complete. It's slated to be completed and fully operational some time end of this year. A loco link change will be possible then, but don't expect any speed-up until the route is fully doubled. Electrification doesn't guarantee any speed-up.
Hi.. If YNK - GTL is electrified, IRI Atlas shows still in blue ...
when the electrified line between YNK - GTL got CRS inspection???
