Thai Railways. My overnight trip from Bangkok (capital of Thailand) to Chiang Mai (hill station in Thailand). I shall be describing and comparing Thailand with Indian Railways.
Runs on metre gauge. Non-electrified diesel traction. Cheap fare - similar to 3AC fare here. All airconditioned.
Since it runs on metre gauge, only side berths are provided.
2 side berths per compartment. Everyone gets a window....

The Indian Station can also be neat and clean if we increase the charges of Platform Ticket to Rs.10. because no one will enter into platform with travellers so less people less dirtness.

And this will stop us railfans also from entering platforms!!! At least, I would be hesitant to go into the platform just to have a look at trains if the PF ticket is 10 :D
