The Early morning ambience silenced by a whistling WDP-3A loco
One of the regular overtakes that happens between Bhatkal and Karwar when both the trains are running on time! Bang on time running north bound Rajdhani Express attacks the Bhatkal curve on a foggy winter morning behind a whistling WDP-3A locomotive! The train entered the curve at a great speed, but cut off its speed for the approaching tunnel ahead!
The other train waiting is the 16516 Karwar Yeshwantpur Intercity express powered by a KJM WDM-3A Alco. I was onboard the16337 ERS OKHA...

superb...though all rf's from coastal karnataka say overtake happens at Bhatkal, i witnessed thrice in kundapura only :)
