Please find the revenue earnings of last 7 years obtained from RTI for Gulbarga, Wadi, Shahabad railway stations to Solapur division of central Railways.
Few key observations:
1) Gulbarga, Wadi(including Wadi ACC), Shahabad stations give about 50% to 60%(average of last 7 years is 53%) of revenue to Solapur divison with only 37Kms of line( Gulbarga wadi distance is 37Kms). And solapur division has about 1000+kms under its judistriction.

Overall revenue of Gulbarga station is more than Solapur station for year 2015-16(it includes Passenger, Goods, Parcel, Publicity/communication). Gulbarga station revenue is 73 crores and Soalpur is 69 crores.
3) Gulbarga station can become A1 Station immediately if SOlapur division of Central Railways provides right quota. For example: For Basava there are only 12 berths for Gulbarga and people book from Hotgi or Bijapur. For Karnataka Express quota from Bangalore is 0. Also, gradually solapur division is reducing the quota for 22133/4 Solapur-Yeshvantpur exp
4) Gulbarga railway station revenue is more than Soalpur and yet it had not originating trains unlike solapur.
This grave injustice of tampering quotas for Gulbarga is to ensure that Gulbarga station doesnt get the A1 station. Please find the attached documents from RTI from Solapur division. The excell sheet contains data for 2009 till 2014. And the Picture file contains data for 2014 till 2016
