Aisa to flights me bhi nahi hota.
I am not against fare hike or flexi fare if it raises revenue for railways but this is totally baseless and unjustifiable.
Dynamic fare principle at work. Bilaspur to Pune has much lesser seats left, hence the dynamic component of the fare has shot up while Kamakhya Pune still has many vacant berths. It does look stupid though, it's maybe because the difference in base fare is not so much while the dynamic fare dominates extremely
Ya what u said is rte...but quota system should be made general for all the stations in suvidha.
