In a recent article in a Malayalam paper, it was mentioned that this train might be mentioned in the new time table so every chance that there will be another train between Kolkata-Kerala. Probably this also goes wit the new idea of railways to start services initially as suvidha specials and then regularise them later on

As per the press release of SER ''pair of Weekly “Antyodaya” Superfast Express will be introduced between Howrah-Ernakulam-Howrah (No. 22877/22878) every Saturday from Howrah and every Tuesday from Ernakulam.
So maybe the antyodaya will be in addition to the above train. There is also Santragachi-Chennai Central-Santragachi (No.22841/22842) every Monday from Santragachi and every Wednesday from Chennai Central.
Primarily it seems to focus on the huge migrant workforce who work in the south and hopefully reduce the load from other regular express trains.
