This is to address queries in the Forum about our various Groups - Admin, TL Monitor, FAQ Monitor, etc.

We are not appointing Admins anymore. Before Monitors, we had just one group called the Admin group. Now, we have the various Monitor groups. Our Admins themselves are members of the various Monitor groups. The Admin group is being maintained for historical purposes only.

Our Monitors enjoy all executive site privileges, as well as membership in the many Monitor groups. All new Monitors get a complimentary IRI T-shirt emblazoned with the IRI logo and their Home station, as a small token of appreciation. If you are a new Monitor and are interested in a T-shirt, please send me a pvt. message with the following details: 1. Your T-shirt size, 2. Your full Postal Address with PIN, 3. Your Telephone number.

To be appointed any Monitor, you need to have at least 1000 Confirmed TL Updates, preferably more. There is nothing wrong in getting your entry voided, but if it happens, then discuss with our TL Monitors and other members, and provide your own reasons, or understand the reason for voiding, instead of arguing with our TL Monitors.

Our current Monitors check the entries, and confirm or void based on their own good judgment. This ensures the quality of updates and the info contained within this site. And yes, sometimes Monitors are wrong. We are all human, and make mistakes. It is best to discuss the issues patiently, and intelligently provide reasons or understand the reasons provided by our Monitors, instead of arguing. This way, you will build your reputation among our current Monitors, as well as with other members of the site. If you have a good reputation for updates, you will be welcomed warmly by our current Monitors, if and when you get appointed.
