Doubling and Electrification of RBR :
Northern Railway Construction Organization officers were here yesterday at Patiala for finalising their site and store office here. L-Section and ESP are in finalising stage. Work on Zone-I (From Rajpura-Patiala-Kakrala) may start by Dec/Jan.

Interestingly, Patiala is one of the 400 stations to get remodelling and facelift, work on this also going to start soon as tenders for the same have been awarded. Patiala is also one among 100 stations to get Google Wifi.
