Construction of Mum-Ahm high speed rail is definitely a big milestone for the journey of Railways in India. If successful, this route will set the tone for era of high speed rail travel in India. Only time will tell, it will go the Kolkata Metro way of Delhi Metro way!!
Need of the hour is to quickly initiate and speed up the construction of 3 more DFCs announced in RB 2016-17, i.e. Mumbai-Kolkata, Delhi-Chennai & KGP(HWH)-BZA(MAS) which are bigger necessity for IR than HST!!
