This railway station should be renamed 'Thiruvananthapuram Vikram Sarabhai Terminal' in memory of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, the father of modern Indian space programme, after whom the rocket launching centre at Thumba (Which is just 5 kms away from Kochuveli) is named.

It would be better if SR could develop the station. There are few amenities in the stn and some people have told me that KCVL is diffcult to access via road.
