In the new time table it has been given 2 hours to cover distance between CBE & PGT. Primarily done to reduce unwanted detention between Thrissur & Ernakulam which had become a point of debate.
Now it usually arrives Palakkad mostly 45-50min before schedule and made to wait for almost 1 hour !!!. Quite ridiculous .
I recollect a railway employee saying that 13351 is given the least priority amongst all express/mail trains passing through PGT/TVC divisions
