No sooner did we climb the Panval Viaduct, we had a north bound Ro-Ro not fully utilized cruise past the Viaduct. Panval viaduct is around 64m tall and 425m long. On the northern side (towards Mumbai side) is ‘Benewadi’ tunnel, 1100 m long and ‘Tike’ tunnel on its southern approach (towards Goa side) is 4017 m long (yes, 4 km!).
