This is because Raj had a predominantly MG network, and has little BG network which was NDLS-BCT trunk line which got electrified decades ago. Now the freight lines Guna-Kota-Chittaurgarh, MTJ-Alwar, etc and AHM-DLI route are under electrification at brisk pace with some sections already commissioned . The RE scenario of Raj shall change soon with in a few years.
