Well, I do agree that they are not radical improvements for passengers. The price hike can be justified if they assure good priority and high run speeds for the train ( 70-75 kmph+ avg speed). But for the schedules being provided, the fare hike is definitely not a worthy idea.
However, I see many people here very interested with the new facilities.
Tejas has a better reason for a price hike with it's impressive list of facilities for day time intercity passengers.
