Moral responsibility and/or resignation is actually a thing of the past. Those days leaders out of their real sympathy resigned. Sh. LB Shastri started it, but now it has ended up as just a showpiece and/or tokenism and to escape the wrath of public (read scapegoats by their leaders). What's the use of the incumbent RM resigning and me or you taking over with the existing poor infrastructure? The same thing is going to happen tomorrow and how many may have to resign? The best is to NOT propose useless things based on regionalism and parochialism and NOT allow leaders looking after only their constituencies, which leads to irrational demands and trains and accidents. Let get things straightened first. It's better if they put a hold on ambitious projects for now. India can wait.
