I am not sure but i think Reversal is not possible at Patna. They may have taken upto Rajendra Nagar for the reversal.

PF 8, 9 & 10 are the only 3 platforms of Patna jn used for Gaya jn. And these 3 three are busy platforms with arrival and departure of all Patna-Gaya-Patna trains.
