i also submitted my innovative Idea at gov. in to install hydraulic/air step (staircase) in passenger coaches.

yes. it is very difficult change... but i want to learn how its going to useful and effectiveness
another reason of using air piston system is this that..

it would rest on any level of platform.. and only sandwiched step (step1+step2) down upto 10 inch

Good work and i appreciate that. Hope rly consider it and some modifcation can be done.
it ll reduce risk of falling paxs between trn nd pf gap..
sr. citizens can easily board in trn at low level pf. also.
becoz steps are reducing height between pf level and coach floor level.

will be useful to people who board trains from halts or small stations which have platforms literally at ground level and it becomes a nightmarish task especially for women & elders to board the train from that low level platform. Now for this hydraulic step two things would be needed, first loco having very power compressor to maintain hydraulic pressure in the stair case as well as in the break pipe of coaches. Currently only freight locos have that much power compressor. Second, modification in high level platforms otherwise the stair will collide with it.
