Today (28-Dec-2016) Railway Minister Mr. Suresh P Prabhu will inaugurate newly electrified rail route of Roza junction (ROZA) - SItapur cantt. (SCC) - Burhwal junction (BUW) via video conferencing from Rail Bhawan, Delhi. After inauguration all the train passing through this route will have option to get e-loco. Currently doubling and electrification work is going on at said section. Post completion in 2021 another double electric route between Gorakhpur and Moradabad will be avaiable for use. This route would help in de-congestion of traffic on GKP-LKO-MB route.
Aishbagh (ASH) - Sitapur (STP) is another route which is under gauge conversion post which possibility to introduce new train / reschedule route / divert route would be there. As on date gauge conversion completion...

.trains from ghy after gkp could divert to scc and meet shahjehanpur bypassing lko and also a shorter route ....also it provides an alternative route from Patna and north bihar to Delhi,jammu,Punjab and northern states going to be an important section in upcoming days
