I second the point you mentioned. While the decentralization has had good effects in lines of expedition of projects that had earlier required consent from RMs and Railway Board, things like controlling of train have got severely effected. The effect of this can be seen in Rajdhanis and Shatabdis in many zones which were earlier treated with high priority but now gets delayed every second day.
Also, I came across an interesting fact, DFC was commissioned in 2005 and half of the funding and allocation work happened before Mr Prabhu. In fact, in the summer of 2014 itself, I saw 30-40% of present work done in MGS-Sonnagar section to be completed. I remember I was travelling in JSM-HWH Exp when I saw...
