Very funny demand made by a SWR Zonal Railway Member, shows a very sorry picture about the level of thinking/intelligence of the persons nominated to take care of railway users at Zonal level! The demand is that the train 16227 SBC-Shivamogga-Talguppa express which departs from SBC at 23:00hrs and travel 274kms to reach Shivamogga at 4:45 should be slowed down by 1:15 hrs to reach Shivamogga at 6:00 am so that the Shivamgga bound paxs could complete their sleep!! He want Indian Railways to operate as Shivmogga Railways!!

this political nomination is how such persons can be given such an important posts/ responsibiities. If a peon/ khalasi in IR have to pass the competency test, then why not posting of RM or persons nominated by them be subjected to similar competency tests. Unless this happens, wrong decision makings shall ensure financial sickness of IR.
